How To Make Android Battery Last Longer

Some of new Android Phone user will complaining about the battery will drain so fast. It's not shocking, because i experiencing my self with that. When i change my phone from symbian to android phone i'm little bit shock about the battery life. But then i realize that the energy to run android system is bigger than symbian. 

And here is some step to make Android Phone last longer :

1. Decrease the CPU performance when it doesn't need to perform at full speed. Download and install SetCPU ($1.99) from the Market. It allows you to underclock your CPU to save battery. You can set profiles and play around with them. Generally, you don't want to set the minimum frequency too low as some tasks may then consume significantly more time to complete, wasting the energy you gained.
2. See how much energy your phone drains. Download and install the Current Widget (free). It allows you to put a widget on one of your home screens, where you can see the current your phone is currently draining. Can be set to update at various intervals. I prefer 30 s as it gives me enough time to shut down an app and look at it to see how much current the app itself is draining.
3. Decrease the brightness of your display.   I know you love your AutoBrightness, but it sets the brightness unnecessarily high, so until someone makes an AutoBrightness app with customizable overall brightness (once I get into programming apps for the Droid a bit, I might do it), you're left with doing this yourself.  Download and install the AutoBrightness (free) app from the market.
4. Only use wireless functions when needed. Having the mobile data connection, wifi, GPS or bluetooth enabled all the time causes severe battery drain. Sometimes even after you disconnect, the data connection connects again without you even knowing, downloading Over-the-Air updates or Weather, draining your battery unnecessarily.

And here are some things that doesn't improve battery life:

1. Getting a slower (and thus presumably less power-consuming) SD Card – because a slower SD card actually makes things worse as it needs more time to perform a task and thus keep the CPU busy a longer time.
2. Underclocking your CPU too much.
3. Killing tasks automatically immediately after closing them – this apparently makes battery life worse, because when a program is in RAM, it doesn't consume system resources, but when you run it again, it does.

The World of Magic Review and Download

Recent few days I’m distracted by the amount of online game for Android Phone. One of it is actually very addictive. Let’s call it TWOM (The World of Magic)  from Com2Us. This game is free MMORPG. More precisely this game use a popular controversial concept “freemium”.

Once you enter the game, you need to register in Com2Us. Then we need to choose servers. After that, we need to choose between 3 characters choice: Warrior, Ranger and Magician. Warrior is a short range char, using blade to attack, and it has high defense. Magician has a great damage long range, but very low defense. Ranger stands between Magician and Warrior, and using bow as the weapon.

If you want easy leveling, you need to buy some premium items. Some item there are sold in unbelievable price. But you can get  many golds when you reach 25 or higher. As newbie it will be hard to level. But I found it addictive and enjoyable as your level increase. PvP in this game is quite fun. You can kill your opponent when they are leveling.

The hardware requirement for this game not to high. I use my Samsung Galaxy Ace for playing this game, and it runs smoothly.

And fortunately I got almost US$400 by selling rare items in TWOM to other player. Lucky me.

Ragnarok Online: Rebellion of Valkyrie

I heard rumor that Ragnarok Online will be launch at PlayStore soon, so if it really happen we can play it and download Ragnarok Online on our Android Phone. In some forums said that there was already beta testing for this game but only available in Japan. I love The World of Magic but i really want Ragnarok Online. I was play RO 10 years ago, and now i miss it. And i think you feel the same. I hope it will be released soon. ^^
